Like any business, you should do the maths. How many full-time staff are there X minimum wage + Nat Ins, the cost of a mower, pool chemicals etc., etc.
Big sites can be more economical than small on that basis as the costs are shared between more owners.
Some builders clearly see site maintenance as a 'second visit to the well' i.e. another way to screw money out of buyers.
The swapping of figures like these (in the thread above) are pointless without some basis for comparison of what is being provided. Unless you find a formula that allows comparison, it is a waste of time.
