Yes, that is why I am dubious about booking with them, especially when your dates are not that flexible. I have reserved all my flights for this year with Turkish airlines from Stansted to Izmir via Istabul. They fly daily and although I hate Istanbul airport as it is so big, at least you can do your visa and passport control their and not have to worry about it in Izmir.
