Re: Steel front doors

My own experience would make me encourage you to not skimp and get a good quality door and frame. Get it installed by people that know what they are doing and make sure the frame is filled with cement to bond it to the brickwork.
It should come with high security locks and usually the keys are sealed to stop builders holding them. A builders pass key is provided to allow them to install the door, but when they have finished you cancel that key and it will no longer work, leaving you with the "real" keys.
If you think they have had any access to the real keys, get a locksmith in right away and change the lock barrel.
