My husband has just informed me that due to excavation an area has been disturbed that has been the habitat for snakes for hundreds of years and not far from where our flat is being built. The general consensus seems to be having a cat is the best protection!!! Well having two İ feel quite smug all of a sudden and not quite so ashamed of their hunting prowess
