Re: Kimlik number

Ours weren't in the blue books, there was a resident permit number in the front, you could have residency without having a kimlik number in the old days. People started to apply for kimliks when it was decided that foreigners could join SGK. We had to apply for kimlik numbers separately, this was around 10 years ago. I shouldn't think there are many blue book permits left by now.
