We had our first, blissful holidays in Turkey 10 or more years ago at Club Sardunya (sister hotel to Petunya). I remember Yahsi being a beautiful beach and with a boardwalk along the edge where the mainly Turkish holidaymakers used to stroll in the evenings. There were a couple of small bars, restaurant and shops then but nothing much. It was an idyllic setting for us with two teenage daughters - we could let them loose on the beach side of the hotel and knew they couldn't stray too far. Is it developed much now? I know Sardunya has gone and become part of the Petunya complex. We went back a few years ago with our friend who used to be the barman at Sardunya. It was quite sad seeing it all changed and half of it closed off.
Half of me would like to go back one day, but the rest of me thinks its best to stick with the memories!
