I'm curious about these big holiday home complexes that have all the facilities you mention. Are the homeowners also joint owners of the restaurant and other facilities? Who is ultimately responsible for them? Do they turn a profit and, if so, do the homeowners share in the profit. If they run at a loss, do the homeowners have to subsidise the shortfall?

I'm curious, too, about complexes with an on-site bar. Does the bar have to be licensed to sell alcohol and, if not, will they be affected by the new laws concerning the sale of alcohol?

I agree with you that it shouldn't be necessary to employ a management company to mow grass and clean a swimming pool.
