forest fire today
Unfortunately we had a fire today
It was in the mountains behind the Kervansaray Hotel and spread down to behind Cettia hotel and Sayar aparts.
5 helicopters were working in the end.3 pouring on the water and 2 continually circling the area.Plus all the fire brigades and the poor council workers that are herded around in small lorries.
Tears well up in my eyes when this happens as I think about the wildlife and greenery that has now gone forever.
