Gumbet is a party town so I don't think you'll have any problems having fun. Depending on what you fancy as a resident I'd recommend a few things-

Blue Ice Bar (top of Gumbet central area) two drinks for the price of one in ice cold glasses, great atmosphere and music.

Roxy's Bar - bottom of the hill from the main street. Real party night with male dancers thus loads of girls watching!

Sue's Place - half way inbetween for really good quality food and a more relaxed atmosphere

Crime is low but there are chancers (mostly lads that aren't getting paid, so keep your wallet and phone close)
