I went up to my new house and looked for her on the way up but no sign. However, she was there at the usual place at 6pm on my return. I took her some cooked chicken and antibiotics concealed in some cheese and she actually let me sit with her while she was eating. Its not all good news. She is extremely emaciated and her eyes are badly infected and her breathing is still rather laboured.
I am just hoping the antibiotics start to kick in soon.

Ang - the antibiotics will take a good 48 hours to kick in. Staying with her while she eats and drinks will ensure she gets to nourishment and not another stray. Did the vet say what had caused the infection? If you can get her fit she has a better chance of survival with or without you, remember she was born to this and is probably tougher than we think, she just needs the helping hand you are giving her to get over this bad spell. Keep up the good work and the fluids.
