Your plans sound similar to ours as this was something we considered doing next year with a view to leaving a car at our Turkey address. I would be so pleased if someone could tell me that my understanding is wrong.

I have also looked at the cost of purchasing a second hand car in Turkey and they appear to be at least a third to half more expensive than in the Uk. I think to own a car in Turkey you must also take a Turkish driving test? again I amsure someone will provide the answer.
