British Embassy
Hi has anyone had any dealings with the British Embassy in Bodrum ? unfortunately some English people who were staying in Yalikavak for two weeks holiday had burgerlers in the villa they were staying in on their last night, they were all packed and ready to go home on their return from there last meal in the village some unsavoury person had broken in and stole their passports, flight tickets, money, credit cards, mobile phones, cameras, video camera and numerous other items. Needless to say they could not get there flight so next day went to the British Embassy for help and they required 1,500ytl for replacement passports they had no money whatsoever so a family member in England had to take money to the Foreign office and they then confirmed to the Embassy the money was there then they issued replacement pasports. They then booked them on a flight to Gatwick instead of Birmingham and were stranded there at 3oclock in the morning. A lovely couple came to their resuce and bought them coach tickets back to Coventry.
