just got back last week after spending the summer in Bitez.

While I was there i noticed maintenance fees were a huge problem for owners, there is a unjustifiable discrepancy between sitesi fees and very little accountability.
People seem confused about what they are paying for exactly and are given very little information about how their money is being used.

Prices ranged from euro 50 a month to 400, that's just crazy.

A friend of mine owns a on a complex in Gumusluk, there are 20 villas and each had to pay euro 3,000 for a new pool, that's euro 60,000 which would build you a couple of apartments in Turkey let alone a pool!

I feel it is such a problem that the members of this forum should take it on board to name management companies that they feel are reasonable and fair in their pricing.

I own on a complex in Bitez that has 8 apartments, small pools and gardens.


I pay ytl 100 per month to Bosay Management Company.
Additionally there are communal water and elec charges.

I feel this is high given the size of the complex and the fact that we have no security included in this price but at least this company is professional and provides us with a breakdown of expenditure etc.

I would welcome any other recommendations of management companies that may offer a more reasonable rate.

We should have a recommended and name and shame system for management companies, it's a real problem and will put people off buying in Turkey.
