We're getting lucky in Antalya as Superonline has started to lay Fibre Optic cabling around the more popular areas, hopefully stupidly fast internet and cable TV is on its way soon. (Can break their "fair use" policy in a matter of minutes then
). Id like to see how close to 8MB speed people get on the NET Tariffs from TTNET the whole "up to 8MB" speed claim seems like very vague and excuses them from giving you snails pace connections if the traffic gets high.
Oh and I have noticed that under my friends "up to 8Mb" NET connection his Bit Torrent and streaming video traffic is throttled by TTNET but on my 2MB limitless connection the traffic isnt shaped at all, so that may be another "con" that even though youve got a faster connection if you start watching online video or downloading bit torrents TTNET will slow down that traffic! There are of course techie ways to disguise the traffic but it would be interesting to see, you can do a test to see if your BitTorrent traffic is manipulated here...
