Re: Bodybuilding for Women
That about sums it up Canim, thanx!
We got a lift home most nights but everytime we walked home by ourselves down the long dark road to poppy Apartments, laura was stressing incase someone followed us or tried something untoward - i certainly wasn't worried at all - I kept saying to her if someone jumps out at us i'll just pull one of my combat moves on them and we'll be sorted!
Before this year I would have been anxious myself, especially as we have been followed home a few times and men are always pulling up in cars as we walk home asking us if we want a lift (do they really think were going to turn round and say "yes i'll get in a car with you random stranger"!) but now I am perfectly confident that I could look after myself.
Its not what I started Body Combat for and never really thought about self defence, but its always a good thing to have I suppose.
I have heard about the gym in Fethiye but never got round to looking into it, I suppose when it comes down to it, on holiday im just too lazy to do anything other than sleep and eat cheese ruffles during the day! If they did body combat id go but dont think I would just to do a normal gym workout.
