ive asked this before...on a different forum as we had loads of budgies last year....we had two hatch out and after they were feathered etc we notice one couldnt hop or stand ..the brother was fine. yusuf was going to put it down when we saw the sibling was feeding it on the floor of the cage. Not only feeding but grooming it and shoving it around from side to side ...wish we'd had a video. it looked after it like this for about three weeks and gradually its claws started to unfurl or whatever. Soon the lame chick could hop and then fly and grasp the perch. Anybody seen anything like this before. ..it was truly wonderful.
