Be very careful with your choice of lawyer try to get one recommended by a friend. We paid one £2K up front and he suggested some very dodgy things like putting the house in his name. I don't think he had ulterior motives but it was an expensive and dangerous way of doing things. Luckily a trusted Turkish friend came to our aid.
