What I have learnt in dealing with the local business people, is that things happen in Turkish time.
Time there is very flexible
, you have to learn to keep your humour, learn to go with the flow, and nudge them from time to time.
I think most people don't mean to give you the run around, but they tend not to have schedules or the schedules tend to move around a lot
