Hi I have a Villa in Kusadasi and yes it has rising damp after the long wet winters, I have looked at dozens of houses and all been the same, I have asked my neighbours and their answer is scrape it off and re paint every year, it seems that damp courses are not used why for the sake of about £25 I do not know, but have a look at all the villa and other building going up , there simply is no membrane or damp proof course. I asked several builders who said " It would add to the cost" £25 hardly a lot is it.
I seem to have stopped mine using airbricks and fans, all year. Long story
but its worked.
