Er no here in Antalya we dont see this problem so much, certainly not with new builds which all have great big thick damp proof membranes, the builders here seem to be in a bit of a private competition as to who can give best quality. which is great for the buying customers. Also on the outside walls we are now seeing the multiskin coating systems which thermally insulate as well as keep the damp out thus you get cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I have to say it does cost more but then you arent paying so much for maintenance down the line so its swing and roundabouts and you get what you pay for. I have been up and down the coast looking at builds and there are some we have walked away from as I wouldnt be comfortable selling them to a client knowing the client can get much higher quality for the same money in the same resort.
