So sorry for your luck. Happens far too often here though I am afraid. I think the solution is to make builders more accountable for their actions possibly. In my next household project I will search and source people that will accept no more then 25% at the beginning and then when the job is complete and I am satisfied I will pay the rest. I don't even mind paying alittle more if I am sure of what I will get. Just an idea!!!
