Cameron is in USA to address UN. At a side meeting the President of Iraq will ask him to get involved in the fighting. He will then come back and ask Parliament to agree. Once again UK will be fed the line that this is to avert a real danger to UK citizens. We will then have the usual spectacle of aircraft video of bombs dropping on houses which, we will be told, ensures our safety and shows they do not bomb civilians. What he will not tell you is what the long-term plan is, or how long it goes on for ( years, is the estimate of some analysts)
