Electric bicycles for rent

Hi guys,

My mother bought an electric bike the other day for her to potter around Akbuk on, I had test driven one a while back and was quite impressed. They go a tidy speed (about 15mph) and will cover as much as 30 miles on a single charge there are not too many hills in Akbuk that I think will require the optional pedals. Anyway cut to the chase......

Trevor, a guy on my site, has just bought 3 of these and is hiring them out to people in Akbuk. I dont normally advertise stuff but his rates seem great so I thought I'd give him a plug and help fellow Akubukians with some super cheap modes of transport.

His rates (mention TLF for these rates as some of them are about 15% cheaper than his normal rates)

1hr - 3ytl (£1.20)
1 Day - 10ytl (£4.00)
1 Week - 60ytl (£24.00)
2 Weeks - 100ytl (£40.00)

Longer hires available on request

These prices are valid for Akbuk hires (you must stay within akbuk) less than 15st (100kg) and 14yrs or older (No licence required as its an electric bike). The price also includes drop of and pick up from your home in Akbuk!!!!

You can contact him by telephone on 00 90 555 593 1721, I'm sure he has an email address but i dont know it, but will try and post in the next few days

This is the nearest photo of the bike i could find.

Take care

Marc

Re: Electric bicycles for rent

They were on sale a month ago for 909YTL but they have gone back to their normal price of 1260ytl. I have had a PM for details on the distributor (Denizli) which I'll give once I find my moms receipt!!!! if you are in Altinkum then the agent (who seems a little greedy - he tried it on with me and also another person i have spoken with) has an office a little way down past Carrefor on the right heading towards the beach.

Take care

Marc

Re: Electric bicycles for rent

Yesterday we spoke to the agent in Didim (just after Carrfour) and he said 1100YTL, but we think he's a nice guy and you could probably get one a bit cheaper. Even so, I think 1100 is a good price, but what a good idea to rent one - have a good try before spending more money!

I promised to get the phone number but unfortunatly the crook (i thought he was a little dodgy) has done a bunk, and run off!!!! office closed no forwarding contact details, slimey toad!

I have since been told there is a company closer to Didimya that are selling them, ill try and find out more if i can.

Re: Electric bicycles for rent

The motorcycle shop just past Carrefour and on the same side has these bikes in stock. The owner of the shop is a guy called Rouey (sorry, not sure of the spelling) but he's a really nice guy and very, very helpful.

Re: Electric bicycles for rent

Christine,

The shop you talk about is the one I reported as closing down and moving on, no forwarding addresses or telephone numbers.
