Where is your site in Akbuk

I for one get very confused when people mention the sites where they own homes as I haven't got a clue where it is. So I am going to start the ball rolling by giving:

a) my site name
b) quick description of site
c) location.

Hopefully from this, we can all build up a better picture of Akbuk

Our site is called the Eclipse Dolunay Site, properties were finished off in 2005 although the shells were apparently constructed between 1997 and 2002.
There are 28 semi-detached villa's on the site, the houses are a lemon colour and the site is about 600m (approx 12 minutes) up the hill from the Yalcin Supermarket on the coastal road, approx 1.5 km outside of Akbuk centre.

Adjacent sites are : Kumkent, Buyuk Ege & Kerem Sitesi

Very good idea Gary,
So we can get to know our neighbors.
We are close to Akbuk.
Good to know where you are. I thought you are in Altinkum.

We are on the Ecem Sitesi (Cream villas with pink shutters) just off the main coastal road near the centre of Akbuk. The Silk Rd Restaurant is a good land mark as the turning is opposite. We are over on the 23rd December for 1 week. Look forward to meeting some fellow Akbukers.

Hi Anna, am I right in thinking there is a new site being built very close to your keremi Sitesi on the coastal road called 'Sunset Bay', approx 30 mainly semi detached villa's being sold for £75k.

Also any ideas what the name of the site some distance above yours with those colourful blue, orange and yellow semi detached villa's?

Thanks

Hi, our site is known as Ozyurt Sitesi - it is quite a large site, new (ish) the detached white houses with red roof. The outside shells have been completed but not all have been done up yet. We can see the sea if we stand on tiptoe on the top balcony! Even so, we really love it there, our turning is just opposite the Derby Hotel so we're not far from the centre of Akbuk.

Wish we could be back there right now!!

Yes Sunset Villas are close to us. I know the blue ones you are talking about, they are up higher on the hill and I haven't a clue what they are called. They look empty though and some are not finished. They are a horrible shade of blue!

What is classed as the centre of Akbuk?
Is it the cluster of shops etc.near the harbour and where Jokers Bar is located?

Yep, theses yellow, blue and orange houses do seem to be deserted. We drove up there in June, and only saw 1 family living there. There was one for sale, the price was very reasonable (35k if I remember right) but the monthly maintenace fees were extorninate.
Anyone knows what this site is called?
