Demolition Akbuk

This was posted on another forum.
Anyone know anything about it; or maybe some photos?

"...ther are some apartments next to tansas that have been built with three floors you are only allowed two
and of course a balcony they have just started to remove the top floor very sad news for the buyers"

Re: Demolition Akbuk

Real shame, but its been on the cards for a couple of years, they look fabulous but the criminal builder must have known what he was doing. He'll be sat in Izmir or somewhere now with his winnings.

Why The hell has the local council let this go ahead knowing it is illegal.
It beggars belief.

Re: Demolition Akbuk

yes they are called Whitebay Development apartments. the rule in Akbuk is you are only allowed two floors villa for living or sleeping on, then if you have a third floor it must only be a sun terrace plus you are not allowed to block anybody else sea views. this builder has been trying to get around this rule by saying this was a hotel and not apartments for the last year or two. but has now been told he has to lower the levels.

Re: Demolition Akbuk

And of course there is the other scam ,where they sell a undeground store room as a apartment with 2 floors above . And if you are not there to check it you end up with a tapu that is not for a apartment .

Re: Demolition Akbuk

I'm so pleased for the people in the row above the Whitebay Appt's who will hopefully get their sea-views back. There are some nice people in there.

Anyone able to add some pictures of the demolition, be good to see them.

Thanks
