cancelling phone and internet

Anyone tried to cancel these over the phone, and with what outcome. Need to keep the internet until the last minute before our return to the uk.

Our internet stayed on for one month after cancelling it. Phone went off after three days. Both with Turk telekom.

We were stood behind someone Jeff that was trying to cancel his internet etc, he had a lot of form filling to do, and lots of photocopying was done I said to him it looks like a big job has broken out, he said it has, and I'm only trying to cancel my internet. Sue xx

I'm not sure if there's a different procedure between cancelling and suspending.

I suspended my contract recently, and was simply told not to pay for the interim months although my bank charged me 3Tl for each non-payment as I ensured I had insufficient funds in my current account.

I simply showed an old bill plus my passport, which he did not look at.

We will be suspending our contract in winter, it looks pretty straightforward, although the way our luck runs, may be not. Sue xx

We went down to the TTNET shop on the morning we wanted to cancel the account, filled out the forms to cancel the phone and internet, paid the bills we owed and basically the internet was already cut off by the time we got home and the phone 2 days later.

Great!

I just need to confirm that you did this is Akbuk as, in Didim, I was told to go to the main office and had to queue for over an hour. The shop could not, or would not, do it for me.

Maybe quicker and easier to do this in Akbuk next time.

Has anyone done it online?
