Re: "Akbuk Residence" - Tapu holders in Block C

Thanks. Which solicitor would you recommend? I have used a couple now and both have no "fight" in them whatsoever, almost have to beat them with a stick to get them to do anything... lol

You might find its not a case of "no fight in them" but more of, "no case to fight".............Lack of contracts, paperwork ect.

Can you PM the solicitors names that you have already used, I assume that they are in Didim if your talking about Akbuk? I don't think its wise to put ANY Turkish solicitors name on an open public forum, even more so if you have interests out there, because if you knock them they can surely knock you in a court case.......

It's ok, the solicitors would have quite a job trying to prove who was saying what in the first place, forums are usually anonymous places, with nobody using their real names and not linked to other accounts like FB/LinkedIn/Twitter etc.

Go back to your very first post on this thread. You have named a company, you have named the apartments, named the location & put a name at the bottom of your post.
There's many a thread on here where builders & estate agents including Brits, Turks & Kurds have picked up on peoples posts then the threats start coming.

This post is not specifically directed at you, its a general comment & I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who know that does happen.

Re: "Akbuk Residence" - Tapu holders in Block C

Does anyone living beside the area know if there is building going on at this location at the moment? The last that was said is that a builder is trying to buy up all the Tapus with the intention of taking over the site and forcing the remaining people's plots to be auctioned off... which apparently he is entitled to do if he owns more than 50% of the total land parcel.

Thank you

Now hear this, someone was building in the summer of 2015 when we last visited the site . Just a couple of guys. We didn't go out to the site last year to see what was happening. However We are going again mid May and if you want we will have a look again and see what is happening. I was just wondering not so long ago how you had got on.
