Always be wary of anyone - whatever nationality - quoting in s. They live in Turkey, work in Turkey, pay bills in TL and purchase supplies in TL. The only reason to quote in s is to hope the proposed customer thinks "Oh thats only half what I would pay in the UK" - despite that being irrelevant as you are not in the UK - or they are simply out to get more money than the job is work.
After 11 years living here if anyone quotes me in s I immediately tell them I am not interested as I live in Turkey, spend TL and have no interest in what the job is in s and neither should they have unless they are wanting to rip me off.

Thanks for all responses, we live in a freehold villa in a site, the maintainance agreement also includes 24/7 security guard, but we still think it is a bit expensive.
Anybody have a maintainance company to rekommend in the Akbuk area?

Seems a tad expensive for this region although I don't know anything about your area. I also think has been swapped for TL and having a paint job 2 years after the agreement runs out is a joke, they mat double or treble the price then.

Shop around is my advise.

Cant advise on a company, but here is another comparison.
34 detached villas, no swimming pool, do your own painting of property and the Sitesi employs its own security guard who does a reasonable job with gardening and general site maintenance, cost 250 per year, although it may rise a bit this year due to minimum wage increase. He lives on site in a cabin.

I had the security guy paint my villa I supplied the paint, he charged me 800TL and took him and his mate 2 days, and that was over the odds when you work out the rate per hour for non tradesmen.
