Community Annual Meetings - Options
A few years ago, I remember some talk of a Sitesi in Akbuk holding their community AGM in the UK: Is this allowed as long as the majority of owners agree and its undertaken under Turkish Law e.g. That the decision book is completed and notarised?
Also is it possible to undertake postal voting or have owners dial in and vote via conference phone/Skype or internet? interested to hear any opinions on this.
Three Lawyers I have spoken to all have different opinions (with one suggesting that he should be paid for 3 days of expenses for an overseas meeting, but wasn't sure if the meeting would be legal!), so I want to know what options have been tried and tested except getting all owners or their proxies to Turkey at the same time.
Thanks.
John
