Feel good Factor
I am a novice here really- going to alanya shortly to buy a property -all going well that is. But I am relieved to see that individuals posting on this site seem to be fairly happy with their lot in Turkey. I may appear a little innocent and some might say 'wait until you get over ere'  For the most part when reading genuine concerns or objections I really find myself saying 'you know it is worse here in Ireland' or 'u could find a more exacerbated situation in county x' etc. I would like to thank everyone for their posts they have been very informative.  |

Good luck with your buying trip. I'm in Dublin and had a leaflet dropped through the letterbox last week about cheap flights direct from Dublin to Antalya. Afraid I binned it because our place in the sun is Guzelcamli and we use Izmir or Bodrum airports, but it came from Abbey Travel if you want to check the prices.

Galway Saoirse but I am originally from outside Dundalk -was up in Belfast a couple of years ago had not been up there in many years previously -the city looks great!!

Many thanks Guz I have already been on their site...bit pricy but with the advantage of being direct ...I noticed Sunexpress offer good deals and flythomascook I am probably just repeating old stuff. But I am very grateful for any info Guz

Have distant relatives in Blackrock near Dundalk and my late mum was also from Dundalk. Good drinkin town. I LOVE to go to Galway for weekends and was down recently. Its especially great now with the £40 return flight from Belfast and only 25mins to get there. Love Garavans Bar, The Quays and Kings Head in Galway
