My first visit to Turkey was Side October 2003[8D]. Nice little place though the actually shopping area did not seem very big. As resorts go I thought it was a bit expensive for eating out but then it was my first visit to a resort in Turkey. From this base I visited Aspendos, Manavgat Waterfall etc.

I loved Aspendos and I have very fond personal memories of that place. [] Which we won't go into here lol!

I stayed at the Tuana hotel. The staff there were very nice and nothing was too much trouble.

Hi Linda,
I went to Side last year and quite enjoyed it LOL
Found a lovely restaurant just up from the collesium on the roundabout, meals to die for. The beach was excellent, really good indeed. The market was good, even though all Germans etc everywhere.
Went to Manavgat waterfall etc. But the real reason was to drive back to Antalya over the mountains to househunt in Calis Beach.
