Hello to friends old and new.. not been on here in ages sorry about that but just not had time with one thing and another. I do try but there is just not enough hours in the day - especially now as the visiting season approaches..
Alanya is getting hotter every day which is lovely for everyone but for us poor devils who have to iron ...
So just wanted to wish everyone a good season... or good holiday...or for us workers..kolay gelsin..
Anyone in Alanya in the coming months drop me a line and maybe we can find time for a drink at the belediye çay bahcesi......or a G&T in the nearest bar

hi lynda..ive been off too for two weeks..im back for a fix..will try and take you up on your offer...got various family members promising(or threatening) to visit in the school hols'
i met ANdyweb and his wife Nancy last week when Tracey was here..it was really nice we had a meal together...but i wont put the restaurant on my top 5 list.

Shirley nice to see you back, we werer getting worried that you and Tracey had problems getting home after we met up last week. Not seen you on the forum since. We would have to agree not in the top 5 of restaurants to eat. Maybe their is one on Tosmur? Hopefully we will see you in September.

Hi folks, will try and pop on every couple of days and keep up with the gossip oops I mean news
I have a bit of calm now as family members been and gone, not back till end of July so visitor free at the moment but July is when Turkish family come so stress levels going o go high with that!!
My siter and brother in law suprised me this year.. they have been coming together and seperately about 8x a year for the past 10 yrs and this year they decided to buy a place in Alanya..why oh why did they not buy 5 years ago???
To answer my own question I guess it is all about timing. B-I-L now has taken retirement from police but as a young 51 and fully qualified divier & instructor I think he may use us as a base for further diving exploration of the turkish coasts.
Well waffling away here.. you would think I have nothing to do.. which I haven't today as I am so organised I am ahead of myself LOL...
Look forward to that cuppa Shirley you can find my office it is opposite Almar in center.
