You may either love Altinkum or hate it! If you are one of the many who is planning to move or have been moved to Altinkum, I believe golden sands, longer nights, enjoyable drinks, the most beautiful sunshine, cheaper prices would not be enough to have a better standart of viability. Let us help ourselves with discussing requests can be offered to the local authorities.

some firm information about the proposed marina and golf course in altinkum would be nice....just to either confirm or otherwise the rumours

maybe also it would also be nice to know the authorities plans to improve the power system (ie less power cuts) and finish the roads....i understand the area around my villa resembles a swamp with a little bit of rain...i was out there in november and needed welly boots on everytime i left my terracing ..i had been told that the council were making the road system a bit of a priority however the area around my villa is still a dust/ mud track with loads od builders debris around it i just hope that when i arrive there tomorrow that at least its been tidied up a bit heres hoping hard !!

A good street map would be very useful. The one Mushtaq did is very good but nowhere near what we have in this country.

I agree with Steve and Lorrain the roads should be a priority, we have a penthouse in Hunters Valley and i have been informed it was like a quagmire there in the winter months. The condition of the roads could be off-putting to potential renters.
