Re: Can Someone Help This Dog

Oh Ang.I have followed this thread since you first posted with a lump in my throat. How heart warming it is to know there are people like you about.

I feed the cats near where I live, I have a few residents, it saves them scouring the rubbish dumpers. Unfortunalty, one or two of the close neighbours strongly object. I think they would rather listen to the catawalling at night and fighting over a stale bit of bread. There would be so fewer cats if only a resident would take just one cat to be neutered. They are so trusting of me. BUT, new litters are coming fast.

Minty, bless you, you are just like me. I always have a bag of dog and cat food in the car and am feeding them everywhere. I cant even eat a meal in a restaurant without sharing it with the street animals. Something has to be done about this situation here in Turkey. We need something like the RSPCA.

I have heard that the pound is horrendous and the dogs are fed slop. There is one employee there who neglects to even feed and water them properly. I have read many times about large donations being sent from various foreign countries. Where is the money going?

Bichon, thank you for your kind offer but if you read earlier posts, you will see that the dog was put to sleep.

A heart filled with love,is a heart that has the answers and the ability to solve the problems of wrongdoings, caused by the people with treacherous hearts that do recogize what is right, but has the tendency to persue selfish acts, and they do know what is wrong. This can eventually win the day,in which love does conquer over all wicked acts ,where selfish acts on other innocent creatures, will be a thing of the past.
An enviourment filled with selfish behaviour, seems like a battle that can’t be won.But since actions are motivated by the heart,a cultivation a love for the animals will solve and eradicate the terrible suffering around us.This will develop a strength that will over power selfish behaviour, resulting in a enviourment promoting inner peace amongst us and the animals.

Re: Can Someone Help This Dog

Just to let you all know that I cant be let out!!!! I went for lunch to Mavisir with my sister and found a little tiny kitten with a very serious eye injury. His eye was bulging out and was bleeding. I watched him bound up to a table of turkish people only for them to stamp their feet at him to shoo him off!!! He is only about 5/6 weeks old. The vet had to remove his eye because he could not save it.

He is such an adorable little chap and full of mischief despite all he has been through. I now have 7 cats. If anyone can give him a loving home. Please let me know.

Ang, you sound just like me, just a good job I don't live in Turkey as I would have a full house. Thankyou for doing what you have for this little guy, hope someone can take him, if not pop him if a jiffy bag and post him over here, poor little love.
