Re: Eating and Drinking places

Hello Everyone!!!

Im new to the forum, having only signed up recently!! However, I have been reading posts for quite a while! So I suppose you could say Im an "Avid reader!".

We have an apartment in Altinkum, althou' we live in the UK. We are actually going over to Altinkum this weekend (July 1), and, seeing this thread on eating and drinking places! We wondered whether there actually was a "Regular watering hole" in Altinkum where apartment owners regularly meet up at weekends!!! It would be great o come along on Saturay and say "Hello!"

In addition to the restaurants listed in my post of May 31st, in the past two weeks we've also used Anadolu Sofrasi, Burger King and Pizza Pizza.

For those of you who know of Sirin Bistro Cafe. I am here to tell you that TURAN left on Sunday, returning to his native SOKE whereby he has a few ventures in mind.

Thumbs up Re: Eating and Drinking places

Hi Onz, Turan never said anything to us about him owning Sirin and so we must assume that it is Mustafa who is the owner. Mustafa has said that he will keep the place open all winter but only for three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Thumbs up Re: Eating and Drinking places

Saw the write up in Voices about The Chippy and decided to try it tonight and was not disappointed. I certainly recommend people to go and give it a try, it is staying open all Winter. The rating we give on the fish, chip and mushy pea meal served up to us is ten out of ten. Looking forward to the next time.

Smile Re: Eating and Drinking places

Seeing as a lot of people rave about it, we decided to give Moby Dicks a try tonight and believe me, it was well worth it. I gave The Chippy 10/10 but this place was better than that !! The Fish and Chips were excellently presented and we also enjoyed the mushy peas. We will certainly be back again.
