If you like 4 seasons then you should try the Altinkum Restaraunt opposite Linekars bar which is where Mustafa Sahin and Umit etc now operate from. we ate there a lot last year and it is fantastic.
we always try and finish off on the way home at a little bar behind the Meryamana hotel next to the new medical centre called Kayras little Eden. (i know...its a stupid name and i have told them) run by Ahmet and Karen. they would appreciate anyone trying them for a drink etc

Ooops Tinkyman, bet that went down well with Ahmet & Karen, seeing as the bar is named after their daughter

I can't make my mind up which to vote for cos I've ate in most of the restuarants in the poll

I also love Mercury for their Adana kepabs and Lamb chops...ooh the kepab shop next to Chill Bar for their chicken kepabs...mmmmm...only six weeks and counting

Re: Eating and Drinking places

Seen most of those listed above.

Think we went into Saray about a couple of weeks ago during the day -service was ok, received starters, yoghurts, pide, tomato salsa type dish before main meal of aubergine kebabs. Was a a bit disappointed with the aubergine kebabs, the kebabs were tasteless.

Would like to try Andalou Sofrasi, Sehir Lokanta and
ALO 24 next time.

Used Alo 24 in a different way as a taxi service as we missed the last dolmus so they dropped us back with a small charge -we did not eat there but we were looking for a taxi/lift.

We generally prefer to eat at smaller Turkish places -theres a small one near the main beach it is the 3rd shop (not the big one on the corner that sells kebabs etc (tried that- but prefered the smaller one, it is 2 shops away next to the avea mobile phone shop, can't remember it's name. Personal friendly service.
Be interested to hear of more Turkish cuisine places that don't serve full English breakfast, full Turkish yeah, no problem, would stay in U.K to get full fry up's

Re: Eating and Drinking places

Anadolu Sofrasi is good food and great value.

Alo24 i can't stand at all. Never had a decent feed there yet.

Cafe More is overpriced and overrated in my personal opinion.

Deli=Cious is fabulous. Wonderful staff and yummy treats to be found daily.

Arti is better than Cafe More and charges a lot less. Well worth trying as they also do 3 courses from 15 lira.

Circus serves good food and big portions. Priciest of the lot though.
