Re: Recommendations on estate agents.
There are always people with money and I think if the company has a great reputation, I can understand people feeling confident buying with Lyndsey's father's company. Good on your family for being successful and honest!

Re: Recommendations on estate agents.
Thank you! I'm not fishing for compliments Prices went up from Phase 1 to 3 because the price of the land went up over the years. We live on site and my father lives on the other development. Not many would do that!

I'm not following you...so phase 1 to 3 were marketed for sale, but the land was not secured?
Because i don't know how the price of land can go up after you have purchased it and have an approved building plan for it.
anyway....
Bargains are very much to be had (not necessarily the 'overpriced' ones), as there are plenty of people that need to generate cash quickly. Where maybe the purchase amongst foreigners has decreased drastically, many Turks are scooping up great homes right now going from 45K to 90K TL
At the moment the general feeling here is that having 1.000 lira's cash in your pocket has much more value than an apartments you can't shift for years.
If you're selling, find a Turkish buyer and have the deal done and money in hand in a few hours.

Re: Recommendations on estate agents.
Land was bought for Phase 1, then Phase 2, then Phase 3. Hence the price went up by the time land for phase 3 was bought at a later date. Phase 1 is sold out as is Phase 2. Each Phase was only brought to market when the previous one was finished and sold. Hope this clarifies it for you

Re: Recommendations on estate agents.
I should have explained myself better! Sorry to the OP for hijacking this thread. Wea ren't estate agents anyway but if you are looking fo rone why not try Crescent homes who run this forum...no experience of them but sure if you ask people will give you their views

Re: Recommendations on estate agents.
With regards to Lyndsay and we have had some slight conflicts on the forum, but to be fair they (her parents) appear to have a better reputation than most, my comment is based on hearsay and NOT through any dealings with them.

Re: Recommendations on estate agents.
I would reserve judgement on any developer/estate agent until I had talked to people who had dealings with any of them. I have heard good things about Crescent Homes & dealings I have had personally [& friends have had] with My Sweet Turkish Homes [Kemal Pelivanaglu, Debra, Sugri, Guner etc.,] have been great, by that I mean when you get your keys you are given your Tapu at same time......... that means a lot, its all well & dandy being handed the keys but they are not worth anything without the tapu
also ask about after sales service from people who have already bought, eg does it exist ?

Yes, I am wanting to sell.
