Smile Izmir Consulate

Could somebody please tell me what I will need to get married in Turkey in April?
I have been to give notice of marriage today at my local registry office to acquire my certificate of no impediment. So I just need to know what else I need to have to be able to get married. I know we need blood tests etc but i need details. Especially since I am under 18, I require consent from my parents, I need to know what they require from my parents in the way of consent. Does anybody which day the Izmir British Consulate is closed? and what time it opens and closes? Is the trip doable on a bus also? Thank you in advance everyone!

Re: Izmir Consulate

Hi there,

This link gives you the address and phone number but doesn't say what the opening hours are. Perhaps someone else can answer or you might want to call them.

It's in the centre of the city so a bus from Didim to Izmir otogar and then taking the free shuttle from there to either Basmane or Cankaya will get you quite a way there. A taxi from that point to the consulate would not be expensive and would certainly be easier if you don't know your way around the city.
