This is what happened to the items i didnt recover in time, the b*stard dumped them all outside. Re: Shipping to the UK

I would suggest you get a price for shipping "ALL" of your goods before you start selling them of, unless they are not really required/wanted and will not have to be replaced back in the UK.

Because the cost of a part load in a container could cost just as much for either all of the goods or the same price for what you may have left after selling some of them.
But one plus point might be "I think" most white goods are cheaper in the UK if you do have to replace them.

Then again there is the time span to take into account, I have read and been quoted around about 3 months delivery from the UK to Turkey (mainly because this is for a shared container) at a cost of somewhere in the region of 1,500 to 2,000 and I don't have very much, just clothes and a few small electrical goods. (No furniture or white goods)

Re: Shipping to the UK

what sort of rotten people are you dealıng with...disgusting to throw your things out like that.
all the more reason to be in court and i hope you see your day with them.

i think if i were you i would try to sell stuff locally rather than all the trouble and expense of getting them back to the uk.

Re: Shipping to the UK

Matty, on your other thread you ask about taking someone to the court with you, I wish we were all allowed in, I have read all your posts and know your story and wish I could support you personally, I imagine all of us TLF's feel the same, helpless. I so hope you are getting some support with this, your solicitor doesnt sound very helpful you need someone to hold your hand. I wish it could be me. Is it not possible that someone reading this could go to the court with Matty.

There appears to be no limit to the people whom you can take to court with you. About 12 of us attended our friends case against her builder 18 months ago. We also wanted to show our support.
