Re: Garden of sun

normaly a cheap hotel. if you stay in the main summer holidays, you will get a good selection of food [a.i] out of season the choice is less. rated as 4* but proberly 3 1/2 is about right. stayed there myself and called in a few times on other accassions - open all year. clientel about 25% brits. entertainment done in diferent languages. well worth staying if you get a good deal

Re: Garden of sun

Think you should have booked the Venosa Beach, booked into the GOS hotel a couple of years ago, and only stayed 2 nights, would never say its 5*, maybe 3* biggest ques every day was for complaints!! that says it all,

Re: Garden of sun

We have stayed there twice and both times had a great time althought the entertainment is not up to much and we tended to go into Altinkum at night. We also have an apartment but prefer to stay in a hotel! Its nice not having to do any cleaning and waking up to a prepared breakfast! At our time of staying the rooms were very comfortable and clean, always a good choice of food, but we're not fussy. Our children were also very happy and we're thinking of going back this year. We book flights and hotel seperately and it usually works out about 50 per night for the 4 of us all inclusive so its cheaper than us staying in our apartment and buying 3 meals a day out.

Its a good standard of hotel by Altinkum standards, no its not 5* but I don't think its advertised as it. In the first choice brochure i think its a 3+*. We've stayed in lots of hotels in Altinkum and its been by far the better standard. Have a great time.

Re: Garden of sun

the venosa beach hotel is a new hotel a few miles outside altinkum. i can see it from my house, it stands out on the horizon. i hear there are a lot of russians staying there. perhaps somebody can give it a review.
garden of sun is just up the road from the luna park. close enough to altinkum to walk if you want to. they do a very good kiddies disco evennings

Re: Garden of sun

We have stayed there every year for the past 4 years. We too have an apartment but we love GOSH. Our 'kids' are young adults but still love it. We think the food is good, the rooms clean and the staff lovely (except reception who are a bit above themselves!) I think you will like it. It's not far from Altinkum and the bus stops at the hotel gates and is regular, clean and cheap. They arrange football games and daily entertainment which can be a bit naff but all in all we keep going back and will be there again in May!

Cool Re: Garden of sun

We stayed there 2 years ago in Aug with our daughter & husband & 3 children aged 3,5 and 10 weeks. Had a great time especially the children. 90% guests were British but watch out for timeshare taking Turkish families round they tend to pinch your sunbeds whilst you are in the pool and move your things . Even tried to move sun umbrella away from our baby's pram
Would recommend it and would go again. Food nothing special but we always found something to eat even my daughter and kids who can be fussy.
