Best bank?

Hi...Which bank in Altinkum would you recommend for:
1...Ease of opening.
2...Internet banking in English.
3...Interest rate for deposits.

Any opinions appreciated but please not HSBC as I have used them in the past and found them excellent, it's just I'm looking at other alternatives as well.

Thanks!

Re: Best bank?

Here is a map of the Kusadasi branch of Yapi Kredi bank ... https://translate.googleusercontent....7lJTuPLicp3gyw

I have been banking with Yapi Kredi for 12 years now and have always had excellent service and interest rates. When I was first with them I was getting 29% interest and now I get 13%... as a result of this, I have been able to live off my interest entirely without dipping into the capital sum. And that covers the cost of paying for everything to do with my 2 apartments in Side, the flights to and from the UK, food and drink and other trips throughout Turkey - the flights, hotels, food and drink - I am so content with Yapi Kredi. When I had been with them for 10 years a courier suddenly arrived at my front door saying he had a package for me and would I sign for it. I was adamant that it was not for me as I had ordered nothing at all but they insisted. It was a gift from Yapi Kredi to thank me for being with them for 10 years and inside the big package were 8 x different types of fresh Turkish coffee, tea and chocolate drinks. What a nice surprise! In the UK I have been with NatWest bank for over 30 years and have never had one thing from them for free and the interest rate there now is half a per cent. x Angela in Side x

Re: Best bank?

I agree with Tedj. Denizbank is the fourth bank in Turkey that Ive used and is by far the best! Always English speakers in the branch. Very efficient English internet banking site and very good English speaking staff at the telephone banking call centre. Interest is consistently one of the highest. I actually joined Denizbank when my last bank closed down after calling to around 8 or 9 other banks around Alanya and asking what the interest rate was. Denizbank was the highest.

But as the TL has fallen problerly by 50% since you opened your account if you change it back to sterling it's goodbye to half your savings
