Signatures in Profiles!

I have noticed that a few agents have started to take liberties with their signature facility.

Please Note this facility is NOT for you to advertise your business, but to let other members know what you do and what business you are involved with.

Please change your signature so that;

the font is smaller then the normal text in the posts, only use one colour, no external images.

Please change your signatures ASAP.

Please amend your signatures to reflect your business interests, so people reading your posts know what affiliations you have which might influence your comments.

The font size must be 1, only one colour allowed.

Tried changing my sig and got this message;

Your signature cannot be longer than 100 characters including BB code markup.

If you comply with the font and size request above then it doesn't leave many characters left for a signature. I know you don't want massive signatures cluttering the place but can it be increased slightly to compensate for the size/color request?

The signature facility is mainly there for people to declare their business interests that might influence their participation here, so readers can judge for themselves.

Hiya. I am actually trying to cut mine down to just the top line but the BB tags alone use 43 characters.

If I was the owner of all the businesses listed in your sig I couldn't list them all with the current character limit using the BB tags as requested. Just thought I'd point it out.

I have removed duplicate tags from your signature, like I said the signature is there so that people can see what business you are involved with that might influence your posts, not to promote the businesses - the taglines in your signature are unnecessary text, your signature only needs to say 'Administrator of rateyouremlak.com'
