I give up, let me die

Re: Win a Home in the sun Announcement
After talking to Lorraine about my problem trying to buy a ticket I was finally able to purchase a ticket through the palpal link. I fully read the terms and conditions and personally I feel it is up to each individual to decide for them selves as to whether or not they agree with the terms to buy a ticket. My view is that they have invested a lot of time and money to ensure that this is a legal contest and also it may only be 3% goıng to charity but if they were not to have this contest then that would be 3% less going to the charity this year.
I would like to say I hope I win as I am sure all of us who have purchased a ticket feel that way but at the end of the day if I do not win I feel better knowing that 3% of my ticket price went to a charity that I would not have known about or donated to if it had not been for this contest and also in the process it has given me a chance to win my dream home in the sun.

Re: Win a Home in the sun Announcement
I'm sure most people are intelligent enough to realise that the apartment could be purchased for less than the whole sum of the tickets on offer.
At the end of the day, everyone has two choices...

This is not the place to discuss the inner workings of our company, there is no need for me or Lorraine to justify the numbers to anyone, you have to look at the deal, if it looks good to you, then you join in the chance to win the apartment if not then leave it.
It's very easy to pick holes in something when it's taken months of hard work by someone else to setup and implement, but not so easy to come up with ideas yourself is it?
As for the link you posted, that is for the cheapest apartment on that block, the middle one of the three ground floor (it is sold but the website needs to be updated) If you want to see the details of this apartment it's here http://www.crescenthomes.co.uk/turk..._apartments.asp Apartment GC, at last year's prices I may add.

WELL SAID Mushtaq I was just about to reply but better you did as your reply is more polite than mine would have been.
The point here folks is do you want to buy a ticket? It's your choice, yes or no.
I hope this is a great success for both Mushtaq and Lorraine, I know they have worked very hard on this project and I wish them both luck.

Re: Win a Home in the sun Announcement
!!Stop the press!! Winning ticket has just been bought, yes its number 195 and ive bought it, Lucky me. I know i have to wait until June to move in but its no problem as it will give me time to buy my furniture
I appriciate that the total sum of the tickets is more than the values of the property but also appriciate its not a charity and when you enter the £60 raffle for the Car's in the airports with 10,000 tickets on offer, i dont think that an aston martin is actually £600,000.
Everyone has a choice, buy one and have a 1 in 1000 chance of winning a (£28,000, £31,000 or £35,000 or whatever valued) Apartment or dont.
But just remember Ive got the winning ticket
Take Care

Re: Win a Home in the sun Announcement
Good luck to all involved. I queeried the amount of expenses and have been shot down by a few members on here.
I do understand that there are bound to be expenses incurred in the promotion and execution of this competition and that the organisers have taken a certain amount of risk.
Once again - good luck to all who enter.

Every entry should get an email confirming the payment and the allocated entry number, we might have missed a few because of system glitches.
I will resend all of them out again, so some will get duplicate.
