alanya/Kargicak
Hi
I am going to stay at my cousin's villa in Kargicak this half term with my twelve year old son. Chance to chill out after a hectic year.
Any suggestions for places to eat out, have a drink, things to do - we are not really a sitting on the beach all day sort of people. I am a bit worried about how I am going to keep my son entertained for a week!
My cousin has suggested the castle at Alanya, boat trips from Alanya harbour and eating out at night by the harbour in Alanya - which all sound lovely.
Any other suggestions in particular if there are any restaurants/boats you can recommend or other places we could visit by Dolmus/short taxi ride would be most welcome.
I would prefer to go where the locals go rather eat out at places mostly inhabited my tourists.
I believe there are a couple of restaurants, supermarkets and butchers in Muthmalar (sorry if I have spelling wrong on this).
Thank you
Helen

Re: alanya/Kargicak
Hello Helen & welcome to our Forum, i also have an apartment in Kargicak as does Andy Web. I think he, Lynda & Shirly would be the people to PM otherwise wait for a reply.
Hope you like it here and if you take a laptop with you then you can keep in touch and maybe meet some of the other members from the Alanya area.
Happy Browsing
