Re: Flights to Antalya

For those Southerners wanting to get to Antalya just heard what appears to be excellent news "Sun Express" has announced that it will be running scheduled flights from Stansted to Antalya on Mondays and Thursdays from 15/01/07. When I did a random potential booking for next March I was quoted 99 Euros each way and for daytime flights!!!!

Web site is "www.sunexpress.com.tr.

Before I get too excited does anyone know anything about Sun Express and how reliable they are?

I flew with Sun Express last summer, its an airline belonging to Thomas Cook and Turkish Airlines. I had a great flight with them and on time. Glad to see they are starting scheduled flights twice a week!

Re: flights to Antalya

I am usure on their UK operation as I flew with them from Stuttgart to Antalya. They operate a basic service which did include a meal plus all drinks free, including beer and wine!!!! Would not reccommend the service from Germany for other reasons that do not really affect their UK operations. Would be interesting to compare services.

Hi All, Sun Express have been flying from Exeter for the last few years, my partner flew with them and she was very happy, good flight times too. I notice on the XL site there is no mention of Antalya now, does this mean they have pulled out??? Anyone got an email address for them?
Regards Phil

Re: flights to Antalya

Phil,

I obtained details of the new flights to be operated by Sun Express via an e-mail I received from Turkey's Tourism & Culture Tourist Office (www.gototurkey.co.uk). The message I received mentions that for further details contact should be made with Sun Express Sales & Marketing representatives: johncooper@acumenmarketing.com or larry@acumenmarketing.com.
