A Pal of mine who is an Aırline Captain based at Antalya told me that -------Visitors Visa's were now only for 30 Days instead of the previous 90.Anyone else heard this or is it just peculiar to Antalya.Or has he got it wrong ?

Some nationals such as Russians and Polish only have a month long visa, Uk citizens still have 3 months, so i think he is wrong unless someone else knows different.

Have checked on the Turkish Embassy site and there is nothing on there relating to this?

Dont see how they could justify changing it when they know there must be tons of people here already on a 3 month entry visa???

The official MFA website has not been updated since July, and still shows UK visa being for 3 months, here:

http://www.mfa.gov.tr/MFA/ConsularI...rForeigners.htm

Dalaman still issuing 3 month visas yesterday.

If, and only if, they changed things, it's unlikely to be retrospective. Half of Istanbul would end up doing a visa run...
