Money transfer in TL
As they like money to be sent in Sterling. If by any chance it is sent in Tl does it lose value compared to sterling in 6 weeks?

trying to read between the lines to your question, if you are coming out in 6 weeks to pay for something keep it in sterling, if they want it in TL change in Turkey you get a better rate. Exchange rates usually shoot up in the summer season and start to fall off again November onwards.
