Za Za's

Well i think that is how you spell it..Does anyone know what is the difference between a turkish person and a zaza?
The reason i ask is when i was over the other week this man who we get t shirts etc.. from Kept asking me out and got my turkish mobile number and kept calling me (was only over with my mum!!!)
O'h to be young free and single again ay!!
The man who did my curtains is next door to him and said you don't want to go out with him he is a zaza?
The thing i did notice on this holiday was that there must be 15 turkish men in the resort of Altinkum to every 1 girl on holiday!![:X]

Sharon, zaza is the correct spelling and it is a way of saying that someone is Kurdish not Turkish.

My friends Turkish (kurdish)boyfriend refers to himself Za Za, his family originate from just inside Iraq, he comes from south eastern anatolia Sanliurfa way is where his family is based now. I recall someone saying it is something similar along the lines of Liverpudlians being referred to as scousers.

I have an iraqi friend I will ask him what it really means.

A good site to visit if you have not already been is Loved by Turkish Hotel Boys, you can read all about Altinkum boys there but also I do recommend you read the other turkish links too.
