Hairdressers in Turkey

I don't know if anyone else bothers to get their hair done when they go on holiday but I always get mine cut and coloured. The last time I got a cut and blowdry over here (in a well known salon)it cost me £45. When I was in Turkey in April I got it cut, coloured and a blow dry and it cost me £12 [] I will only need a colour when I go this time as I have had it cut recently and I bet it will cost me approx £10. I have had foils done over there which were great so if anyone is thinking about it but not too sure wether to or not, my advice is to get it done Gary goes to the barbers the day we get there and then again the day we come back.

I would have been reluctant to get a color done over there. I pay 75 euros each visit for a color so I will give it a try when I go over. Actually I will just get a cut as I don't need a color because I'm a natural redhead![:X] Murray gets a cut and they usually give him the full works too like a relaxing massage. he loves it.

Anna I asked my friend who lives there to recommend one to me and I haven't looked back, it's so cheap but it takes a long time to get it done but I usually have a couple of teas an efes, it's like having a night out Gary loves going also even after they have burnt his ears[:0]

Anna,

I can recommend a couple of hairdressers in Altinkum. I recently had colour, highlights, and cut for £28. It took nearly 3 hours and the entertainment was fantastic. We had dancing barbers, several massages, dozens of cups of apple tea and a lot of fun. The standard seems to be much higher than in the U.K.

Murdo and Juco,

I haven't got addresses, but I can give directions. It might be easier by phone to give directions, so I'll email my mobile number to you both

Lol I can just picture you sitting there a color in your hair watching the dancing. I would be on my back laughing!
