Anyone know how to obtain financial information about Turkish companies . Is there a requirement to submit accounts to a body like the UK equivalent of companies house?

Been down this route myself!

There is a requirement to submit trading records but there is no public access.

However, if you have a very good solicitor, they can usually find out most detail you need to know

Company accounts are very creative documents even more so in Turkey I think.

A lot of business activity revolves around trust I'm afraid, so it really depends if you think you can trust the company and the people running it, this unfortunately is not an easy thing to determine there other then gut feel and references from OLD customers (not recent ones) as a lot of problems come up after a while.
